The property is located in the vibrant South area right beside the river Thames. Being completely undistinguished and eventless in the past, this area has completely changed its shape during the past 4-5 years.
London South Bank University, located in the area has also changed a lot with the new facilities added to the building.
If you take a walk down Blackfriars Road, you will see the new posh buildings and feel the hectic city rhythm.
An exciting walk by the river during daytime, or in the evening when the water views are even more beautiful with the millions blinking lights and reflections, is definitely something not to miss out! National Theatre is a remarkable architecture landmark near Waterloo Bridge. You can stop for a meal in some of the riverside restaurants or pubs and then go on till the next landmark, and namely Blackfriars Bridge which dates from the 18-th century. Next to it is Millennium Bridge, leading to St. Paul's Cathedral. In beteween Millennium and Blackfriars Bridge is located the famous Tate Modern. It is an amazing gallery for contemporary art. If you continue walking to the East, till London Bridge, you can see the Shard, which is an 87-floor glass skyscraper with restaurants, offices, and viewing platform. Another interesting place is Borough Market offering various British foods. Ministry of Sound is one of the best clubs in the world.
