Just behind the latter you will also find the Villa Borghese park. This is absolutely delightful, an oasis of green amongst the city. It also has great views over the Prati district from its Pincio Terrace.
The Colonna/Spagna district moreover lies on the Metro A line. Using this, and at times the Metro B, you can reach such destinations as Termini, the Colosseum, the Vatican, and the Giardino degli Aranci. It is very easy to use, and costs only €1.50 for 100 minutes of travel!
The area itself has a wide variety of facilities to choose from. In terms of shopping, this area is home to some of the most exclusive brands in Italy. It does, however, also have many high-street brands.
