As you step into the aquarium, you are immediately transported into a realm of life and color.

In addition to approximately 200 species on display, including Sea Horses, Groupies, Napoleon Wrasse, Stingrays, and Murrays, the aquarium in Jeddah’s collection is constantly expanding, making it a great place to learn interesting and instructive facts about the undersea world. The impressive Seal Lion and Dolphin Show is also on display, and guests can swim with dolphins in the aquarium shortly.

After viewing all the various tanks and walking through the unique underwater tunnel, which gives you the impression that you are underwater, you can attend a dolphin show or, occasionally, a sea lion display. You can even schedule unique swimming experiences with the dolphins during specific hours of the day.

The exhibit includes marine life from the Arabian Gulf, Cape Verde, the Maldives, Japan, Australia, and four Humboldt penguins from Peru. The trip ends with a rippling purple, green, and blue-lit jellyfish tank.

All information throughout the tour is provided in Arabic and English. The friendly staff is happy to show visitors some rare and endangered marine animals, such as enormous turtles, that have been spared from extinction due to illness or accident. Those that fully recover are then put back in their original environment.
